JAMMU, July 26: Jammu Development Authority on Monday conducted an anti-encroachment drive here in village Majheen on the Jammu city outskirts.
Acting tough on land grabbers, who have encroached JDA land and water bodies (Khads), the JDA, after serving several warnings and notices, finally launched the drive wherein two concrete structures and two plinths and boundaries were demolished and prime JDA land falling under Kh. nos. 119 min, 168 min and 171 min was retrieved.
Through the anti-encroachment drive, a strong message has been sent to land mafia who has either encroached or sold JDA land illegally and in fraudulent manner.
