Early Times Report JAMMU, July 26: On the eve of Guru Purnima, as expression of gratitude to Gurudev Sri Sri Ravi Shanker, the teachers of The Art of Living organized a 4-day long Online Meditation and Breath Workshop (OMBW) in which 6000 AOL Faculty and 18000 people across the world participated with full joy and enthusiasm which culminated last evening. The programme is a blend of yoga, meditation, knowledge and Sudarshan kriya, which is a rhythmic breathing technique which release deep seated stressful toxins from the body. There was an exclusive session with Sri Sri Ravi Shankar who emphasized on doing meditation in this pandemic to boost immunity, to reduce fear and anxiety. The AOL Jammu faculty and volunteers also did commendable sewa in organizing the nationwide OMBW namely Sunita Chrewoo, Ajay Gupta, Suman Sharma, Shakti Sagar, Neeta Kaul, Anu Gujral, Delair Singh DTC, Meenu Singh, Ritvik, Kousar Rizvi and Akshita Sharma, Ajay Kapoor State Coordinator - Media, Projects (VVKI) and DDC, Art of Living J&K Chapter. Guru Purnima special OMBW was also organized and conducted by AOL Kathua Chapter by Faculty named Bhagwati Prasad and his team from Billawar where each and every participant was benefitted by yoga, meditation, knowledge and Sudarshan kriya. OMBW for youth was conducted by Shailja Jasrotia and Dr Nittin Sharma where the youth from different parts of the country did Sudarshan Kriya and experienced ultimate bliss and peace of mind. |
