Body of 52-year-old man recovered in Anantnag | | | Early Times Report SRINAGAR, July 26: Body of a 52-year-old man with torture marks was on Monday recovered in south Kashmir district of Anantnag. Official sources said that panic gripped Dooru in Anantnag when some locals saw body of a man with torture marks lying in an orchard on Monday evening. "The locals immediately informed the police," they said, adding a team was rushed to the area and the body was taken away. They said the deceased was later identified as Mohammad Ashraf, who was missing since Sunday evening. "Ashraf had left his residence for some work on Sunday evening and never returned home," they added. They said police has registered a case and initiated investigation into the incident. After completing all the legal and medical formalities, the body of the deceased was handed over to his relatives for last rites.
