DLSA hosts awareness programme on NALSA Scheme

REASI, Aug 7: In compliance with the Mandate of Action Plan for the month of August, 2021, District Legal Service Authority, Reasi today organized an awareness Program on the topic of ""Implementation of NALSA Scheme: (Protection and Enforcement of Tribal Rights) Scheme 2015 here at Panchayat Ghar Aghar Baliya by following all Covid SOPs.
The event was held under the guidance and supervision of R.N. Watal, Chairman, District Legal Services Authority and Secretary, Rekha Kapoor Nischal.
Panel Advocate, Shalendra Bhardwaj was the resource person, while Panel Advocate, Ajay Salaria conducted the proceedings of the program.
Rekha Kapoor Nischal, Secretary District Legal Services Authority, spoke on the occasion and made the tribal masses aware about the working of Legal Services institutions.
The objective of organizing this program was to enlighten the Tribal Community about the benefits of education, their rights and Entitlements under various government schemes and benefits of Modern Technology which may be helpful in improving their occupational works besides informing them about the upcoming National Lok Adalat so that maximum cases of the general public which are appropriate to be settled in the Lok Adalats can be disposed of in the upcoming Lok Adalat.
