| GMS Railway Colony organizes national anthem singing contest | | | Early Times Report
JAMMU, Aug 7: On the directions of Director School Education Department Jammu, Government Middle School (GMS) Railway Colony today organized a national anthem singing contest under 'Azaadi Ka Amrit Mahostav' programme. The patriotic tricolored dressed staff and students added to the beauty of celebration. Number of students and teachers from GMS Railway Colony participated in the contest. The contestants participated with great enthusiasm to showcase their talents and sense of patriotism. The programme is followed by Cleanliness and Plantation drive in school premises with the cooperation of School Incharge. Principal of the school informed the participants that the Jammu and Kashmir government has announced the national anthem singing competition as part of celebration of 75 years of India's Independence through online mode. |
