Cultural wing DIPR hosts webinar on Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav

JAMMU, Aug 7: A Webinar on the topic Azaadi Ka Amrut Mahotsav celebration was hosted by Cultural Wing Jammu DIPR in collaboration with Kalra College of Education, Udhampur.
Ranjana Sharma, Assistant Professor of the College delivered the welcome address. The proceedings of the event were conducted by Suresh Kumar, Sr. cultural Assistant.
Principal of the College, Dr. Neelam Bakshi was the chief guest and Field Publicity Officer DIPR Jammu, Shivani Deonia was the guest of honour on the occasion.
The webinar was judged by Assistant Professor, Neha Sharma, Assistant Professor, Saloni Sharma and Assistant Professor, Pallavi.
Around ten participants spoke and shared their views and thoughts on the topic.
The First prize went to Nazuk Dogra and 2nd prize to Paras Dubey, while 3rd prize was bagged by Sakshi Thappa and consolation prizes were given to Manisha Rani and Neetu Jha.
Speaking on the occasion, the chief guest thanked the Information Department for organizing the cultural programme to mark 75 years of Independence of India and to recall the contribution of heroes of the freedom struggle, who laid down their lives for the independence of Nation.
Shivani Deonia said that the department organises such programme for the public awareness about the real history of India, especially for students. She also appealed the participants to follow the covid appropriate behaviour and take vaccine.
