Kathua, Aug 26: A special outreach programme on Amrit Mahotsav was organized by Field Outreach Bureau, Kathua, (J&K), Bureau of Outreach and Communication, Ministry of Information & Broadcasting, Government of India in coordination with District Administration, Samba. Interactive Outreach Programme organized at Govt. Higher Secondary School, Nandpur (Zero Line Village) aimed at spreading the message of Prime Minister of India regarding 75 weeks celebration of Amrit Mahotsav i.e. Freedom Struggle, Ideas at 75, Achievements at 75, Actions at 75 and Resolves at 75 as guiding force for moving forward keeping dreams & duties as inspiration. The programme was attended by Darshan Singh, BDC Chairman, Ramgarh, Vijaypur, Samba, B.D. Sharma, Principal GHSS, Nandpur. The main attractions were film shows on Freedom Struggle of India, Poetry on Patriotism & Freedom Struggle, Plantation of saplings and Felicitation of Families of Marty’s of vicinity. Darshan Singh, BDC Chairman, Ramgarh in his address called upon the locals and youth to appreciate and honour the supreme sacrifice of our National heroes. B.D. Sharma, Principal, GHSS, Nandpur, appreciated the efforts of Regional Outreach Bureau, MoI&B, Govt. of India for organizing such programmes at Zero Line Boarder Villages thus spreading a sense of Patriotism among rural masses. Vijay Mattoo, I/c Field Outreach Bureau, Kathua in his welcome address said that Regional Outreach Bureau, through its FOBs reaches out to the far flung, isolated and media shadowed areas to spread awareness regarding various Centrally Sponsored Schemes of Government of India through Exhibitions, Songs, Skits, SOPs, Interactive programmes, competitions etc. in coordination with district Administration. |
