2 Hizb terrorist aides arrested in Kishtwar

Kishtwar, Aug 26: Kishtwar police today claim to have arrested the two associates of Hizb militant outfit and recovered the arms and ammunition on their disclosure.
As per the details available with Early Times, it was reliably learnt at Police Station Chatroo that two youths namely Ashfaq Qayoom Tak S/o Abdul Qayoom Tak R/o Passerkot Takpura Tehsil Chatroo District Kishtwar and Tousif Giri S/o Ghulam Qadir Giri R/o Pochhal Tehsil and District Kishtwar are in close contact of the terrorists of HM outfit from Anantnag District of South Kashmir.
The said youths according to Police are providing information with regard to the security forces to the terrorists and are hatching conspiracy to carry out terror acts in the jurisdiction of Police Station Chatroo.
On this information a case FIR No 53/2021 U/Sec 13, 18-B UAPA dated 24.8.201 has been registered at Police Station Chatroo. Accordingly a joint search operation was launched on specific information by Police Kishtwar, Army 11RR and CRPF 52Bn in the forest area of Naid Gam Chatroo on 25/26.8.2021 intervening night and both the terrorists were arrested and after sustained interrogation they disclosed that they have kept some arms and ammunition in the forest area of Pingnal Chatroo. On their disclosure today on 26.8.2021 the hideout busted and following arms and ammunition including one Pistol along with Magzine, 20 rounds of pistol, one Grenade, one Magzine of AK 47, two wireless sets, wireless antenna, 3 leaves of HM letter paid were recovered. Police said that further investigation of the case is going on and more arrests are expected in the coming days.
