9/3/2021 10:26:40 PM
Early Times Report
KATRA, Sept 3: Be it rising inflation, skyrocketing prices of fuel, tackling terrorism or affection towards Kashmiris, all these lies and bluffs of BJP leadership has been badly exposed as the party is struggling on all fronts and situation in the Valley going berserk with each passing day.
This was stated by Subodh Kant Sahay, senior Congress leader and former Union Minister for Tourism in UPA Government while interacting with the members of District Congress Committee Reasi after he visited holy town of Katra and paid obeisance at the world famous cave shrine of Mata Vaishno Deviji.
On his arrival at Katra, the former Minister was welcomed by Congress District President Rajesh Sadhotra. The local Congress leader apprised the central leader about the functioning of Congress in Jammu and Kashmir in general and Reasi in particular. The meeting also held threadbare discussion on various steps to fortify party base in J&K and making it the force to reckon with. Later, addressing a presser in Katra, Sahay said that the Achhe Din Jumla of the ruling party BJP at the centre has been exposed fully and now the people have understood and are regretting that why they voted this 'liar' party to power.
He said that PM Narendra Modi led Government proved out to be a complete disaster as it failed on fronts with all segments of society facing toughest times of the lives and the policies which this government brought in with much fanfare going haywire and tumbling like house of cards. "The inflation is all time high with no scope of bringing it down again, government doing privatization endlessly, joblessness touched pinnacle during PM Modi's regime, terrorism is aggravating with killing of political leaders in the Valley and elsewhere in the UT, it is for the first time that an airport has been bombed by drone under the BJP government in Jammu, foreign policy is dwindling with relations at the lowest ebb with almost all the neighbours, gigantic taxes breaking the backbone of common man and degradation of erstwhile J&K State into two UTs showing the disregard of BJP towards people. This voluminous account of mishandling of J&K and the country speaks well about the incapability of BJP and its government", he said adding that people should be made aware about all these goof-ups made by the BJP government to save the country from devastation as already much damage has been caused by the so-called nationalist party.
Others who were present in the meeting include Madan Dogra district president Congress Seva Dal Reasi, Raj Kumar Verma, Angrej Singh, Anil Sharma, Inder Kumar, Thodu Ram, Anil Kumar, Abhishek Sadotra, Arjun Arora, Prikshit Sadhotra, Sahil Sadhotra, Suresh Kumar, Rohit Sharma, Raman Singh, Naresh Sharma and Arun Arora.
