| GDC Thanamandi organizes lecture on women education | | | Early Times Report
Rajouri, Sept 3: Women development cell of GDC Thannamandi under the aegis of Azadi ka Amrut Mahotsava organized an online lecture on Women Education.
The programme was held under the guidance of Prof. (Dr) Javaid Ahmed Qazi, Principal of the College. Prof Raheela Mushtaq was the Event Co-ordinator.
The key speaker on the occasion was Prof (Dr) Nahim-Un-Nisa, Co-ordinator Women Development Cell and Head, Department of Arabic GDC Thannamandi.
Dr. Nahim-Un-Nisa explained in a prolific manner the different aspects of the need of Women Education. In her lecturer she insisted on the education of the women both, academically and morally so that women can compete with the rest of the world with full courage and self confidence. She stressed upon the moral education of the women right from her childhood along with the academic education.
Prof. (Dr) Javaid Ahmed Qazi, Principal of the college congratulated the team of women development cell for organising the programme.
The proceedings of the programme were carried out by Maheen Fatima student of semester 4th.
All the faculty members and a good no of students participated in the programme. The formal vote of thanks was given by Prof. Raheela Mushtaq.
