| District level freedom run organized | | |  Early Times Report
Jammu, Sept 3: Nehru Yuva Kendra Jammu, under Ministry of Youth Affairs and Sports, Govt. of India organized a District level Freedom Run coordination with District administration and MAM College at MAM PG College in which 200 participants from Youth clubs and Mahilla mandals ex volunteers and volunteers of District Jammu participated. The main objective of the programme was to motivate, cheer and express solidarity on celebration of 75 years of independence
Jugal Kishore Sharma Member of the India Parliament was the Chief Guest of the Programme Shri Surinder Saini, NYKS-J&K and Ladakh (U.T.), Shri Sunil Uppal Principal MAM PG College was the Guest of honors of the programme. The Programme started with welcome speech by Nisar Ahmed Butt, Deputy Director NYKS Jammu.afterwards Worthy State Director Surinder Saini, NYKS-J&K and Ladakh (U.T.) awared the youth about the activities and also motivated the youth to take part in sports to maintain their physical and brain health. MAM College staff of Youth Services and sports J&K government and Bharat scouts & guides were also present on the occasion.
At the end Chief Guest Jugal Kishore Sharma administered the pledge. |
