| People submit memorandum to DC Poonch | | |

Poonch, Sept 7: A delegation of Surankote submitted a memorandum to District Development Commissioner Poonch Inderjeet today regarding their demand. According to the information, construction work has been started to make the route from Surankot to Bufliaz as a highway from the side of the Union Territory of Jammu and Kashmir. Meanwhile, the people of village Daraba, located on the way, today submitted a memorandum to District Development Commissioner Poonch under the leadership of senior National Conference leader Rajesh Bakshi and DDC member Surankot Sohil Malik. They demanded from the construction work of the highway is going on road cutting is being done in one way, due to which the houses of the local people are being damaged. They said that the road should be cut from both the sides so that there is no obstacle in the construction work. Meanwhile, the District Development Commissioner assured that I myself will visit Daraba village and after seeing there, the appropriate decision will be taken to fulfill your demand so that no one is harmed there. On this occasion the seniors of the village People and others were present. |
