Vinay, Rahul kick start tiling work in Ward 20

JAMMU, Sept 7: Bharatiya Janata Party Jammu District President, Vinay Gupta along with Councillor Ward No 20, Rahul Kumar kick started tiling work in the presence of prominent citizens of the area besides a large number of residents at A/C Block of Gandhi Nagar here today. While addressing the gathering after inaugurating the tiling work, the BJP District President Vinay Gupta said that the tiling work in the area will undoubtedly upgrade the lanes and by-lanes in the area. The work will be executed under proper supervision of Jammu Municipal Corporation (JMC). He said that upgradation of the lanes and roads of the area was a long pending demand of residents of A/C Block and that various measures have been taken for upgrading civic amenities in this ward. He said that Narendra Modi led NDA Government is making all efforts to ensure effective implementation of various welfare schemes so that their benefits trickle down to every nook and corner across the nation. Corporator Rahul Kumar said that this was the long pending demand of the locals that has been finally been met today with the commencement of tiling work. He said that while all efforts will be made by the Jammu Municipal Corporation for upgrading the basic civic facilities in the area, yet the responsibility also lies on the shoulders of the people of the ward to keep their area clean and green through their proactive participation. Chairman Health & Sanitation JMC Narinder Singh Jamwal, BJP District Secretary Narinder Gupta, Mandal President Neeraj Puri.
, Mandal Secretary Rachit Khosla, Ward President Satbir Singh, Vijay Verma, Rikki Gupta, Joginder and Janak Singh besides others were present on the occasion.
