NIC J&K celebrates Hindi Pakhwara | | | Early Times Report JAMMU, Sept 26: Hindi Pakhwara was celebrated in National Informatics Centre (NIC) Jammu and Kashmir to promote National language Hindi across J&K UT. Jeet Raj, Senior Technical Director, NIC honoured Dr Sanjeevani Sharma, Sr Lecturer GGHSS Miran Sahib as Judge in a ceremony held at Civil Secretariat to mark the week-long functions for promotion of national language. Various written competitions were organized among the scientists working in the national informatics centre Jammu for four days. Prizes were distributed among the scientists who stood at Ist, 2nd and 3rd positions while consolation prizes were also distributed. The prize distribution ceremony was presided over by Dr Sanjeevani Sharma who gave away the prizes to the winners and also administered the oath to all the participants for rigorous promotion of the national language. On the concluding day a workshop was also organized at Civil Secretariat Jammu which was attended by Abhey Kumar Director General NIC Jammu, Mohd Saleem Khan Sr Tech Director, Shamma Kanotra Sr Scientist D, alongwith senior and junior scientists. While speaking on the occasion, Dr Sanjeevani Sharma elaborated the ways and means for the promotion of our national language. She cited the example of Prime Minister Narendra Modi who always speaks in Hindi even during his international tours. |
