| Ex- JeM militant arrested after 20 years | | |

KISHTWAR, Sept 26: Kishtwar Police apprehended another absconder (ex-militant) who was evading arrest from the last 20 years.
As per the details available with Early Times, on specific information received through reliable sources a special police team of PS Mawah was constituted. The team led by SHO Marwah Inspector Parvaiz Ahmed Khanday along with his team under the supervision of SDPO Marwah Nisar Ahmed Khoja raided the suspected locations and arrested the absconder.
The ex-militant identified as Bashir Ahmed alias Jaffar Khan S/o Mohammad Shaban R/o Nowgam Marwah Kishtwar was wanted in case FIR No. 42/2001 U/Sec.302,364/ 120B/RPC 7/27 IA Act registered at Police Station Marwah. The absconder was produced before the Court Kishtwar and accordingly on the orders of the Court the accused has been lodged in judicial custody. |
