Business School JU signs MoU with ICT Academy | | | Early Times Report JAMMU, Sept 26: Business School, University of Jammu has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with ICT Academy. The MoU was signed by Prof. Arvind Jasrotia, Registrar University of Jammu and Lovetesh Kumar, Project Manager, ICT Academy in the presence of Vice-Chancellor, Professor Manoj Dhar. Emphasizing the need for such collaborations the Vice Chancellor, said, "This undertaking would not just help in fostering the relationship between the two partner institutions but would also promote the professional development of students". Professor Dhar appreciated the efforts of Prof. Sameer Gupta, Director, Business School and remarked that this collaboration will not only help in developing the skills of the stakeholders through enhanced academic initiatives but would also bring new opportunities for them. The MoU has been signed under Jammu & Kashmir Employability Enhancement Training Program (JEET) an initiative of All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE). ICT Academy is the implementation partner of this unique project - JEET. The Collaboration with ICT academy will focus on the Skill Development, Entrepreneurship, Industry-Academia Interaction, Digital Empowerment and Research & Publications in the future. The objective of the MoU is to impart knowledge and hone the skills of management students. 58 students of Business School have already registered for a training program on Digital Marketing powered by GOOGLE. On successful completion of the program, students would get a joint certification from ICT Academy, AICTE and GOOGLE. |
