DIPR, BBNH School organise cultural program on Azaadi Ka Amrut Mahotsav | | | Early Times Report JAMMU, Sept 28: The Cultural Wing, Department of Information and Public Relation Jammu in collaboration with Baba Balak Nath High School, Vijaypur today organised a cultural program and symposium on the topic of Azadi ka Amrit Mahotsav. Chairman, BBN High School, Dimple Sharma was the chief guest and Principal of the School, Sandhya Sharma was the guest of honour on the occasion. Senior Cultural Assistants, Surjeet Singh, Mohinder Panchairvi, Balbir Singh, Banti Shah, Vikram Charbathia presented a musical programme featuring theme based songs which were highly appreciated by the audiences. The students of the School also participated in the cultural event and performed a patriotic song. The Chief Guest appreciated the role of DIPR Jammu in spreading awareness on important public issues and hoped that the department would hold more such awareness programs in future also. He also appreciated the performances of artists and students in the function. The chief guest also urged upon the participants to adhere to the guidelines of covid 19 to prevent fresh surge in corona cases. The Chief Guest also highlighted the objective of celebrating Azaadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav and said that the government has taken the initiative to celebrate 75 glorious years of India's Independence and to commemorate the martyrs who sacrificed their lives for freedom. The overall proceedings were conducted by Senior Cultural Assistant, Suresh Sharma. |
