JK reports 95 new positive cases, 323378 recovered so far

SRINAGAR, Sept 28: The Government on Tuesday informed that 95 new positive cases of novel Corona virus (COVID-19), 28 from Jammu division and 67 from Kashmir division, have been reported today, thus taking the total number of positive cases in Jammu and Kashmir to 329220.
Moreover, 188 more COVID-19 patients have recovered and been discharged from various hospitals including 21 from Jammu Division and 167 from Kashmir Division.
The Bulletin informs that no new case of Mucormycosis has been reported today. On COVID vaccination, the bulletin informs that 1,37,371 doses of COVID vaccine have been administered in the last 24 hours bringing the cumulative number of doses administered to 111,72,293. It adds that 83.47 percent of the population above the age of 18 years has been vaccinated across Jammu and Kashmir. According to the daily Media Bulletin on novel Corona virus (Covid-19), out of 329220 positive cases, 1420 are Active Positive; 288 in Jammu Division and 1132 in Kashmir Division, 323378 have recovered and 4422 have died; 2173 in Jammu division and 2249 in Kashmir division.
The Bulletin further said that out of 14755511 test results available, 329220 have tested positive and 14426291 samples have been tested as negative till today. Besides, 45713 tests have been reported in the last 24 hours.
Till date 3532520 persons have been enlisted for observation which included 7233 persons in home quarantine including facilities operated by government, 1420 in isolation and 463075 in home surveillance. Besides, 3056370 persons have completed their surveillance period.
Providing district-wise breakup for positive cases reported today, the Bulletin said that Srinagar reported 36 cases, Baramulla reported 13 cases, Budgam reported 10 cases, Pulwama reported 04 cases, Ganderbal reported 04 cases while as Kupwara, Anantnag, Bandipora, Kulgam and Shopian reported no fresh case for today. Similarly, Jammu reported 10 cases, Rajouri reported 05 cases, Ramban reported 09 cases, Kathua reported 02 cases, Doda and Poonch reported 01 cases each while as Udhampur, Samba, Kishtwar and Reasi reported no fresh cases. In case of emergency, people can avail free ambulance services 24x7 by calling toll free number 108 while pregnant women and sick infants can avail free services by dialing toll free number 102, the bulletin reads. It also informs that the public can reach the national helpline by dialing 1075.
