Sikh Minority Forum address press conference, Ashok Kaul present as chief guest | | | Early Times Report
SRINAGAR, Sept 28: BJP General Secretary (Org) Ashok Kaul today praised the valour of the community and promised that they would take necessary steps to uplift the whole Sikh community and solve all their problems. Koul who was a chief guest at the press conference of Sikh Minority Forum said that in the coalition government, BJP was the one to give nomination to Sikhs whereas the other coalition partner didn’t had the courtesy to do so whereas Sikhs have a very strong presence in Kashmir this show the apathy of traditional party. Surinder Ambardar and Abhijeet Singh Jasrotia were also present in the conference as guests. They assured the community and especially the youth that they will surely be considerate towards the issues and the core concerns discussed by the various speakers. The concerns discussed were employment package for Sikh youth, implementation of ‘Unlawful Conversion of Religion Ordinance’, providing status of ‘Official Language’ to Punjabi, holding of Gurudwara elections and implementation of ‘Anand Karaj Marriage Act’. |
