Reasi police arrests two criminals involved different crime cases

JAMMU, Sept 28: A team of Chasana (Reasi) Police arrested two criminals for act of endangering life & personal safety of others, attack on police party and creating law and order problem in Chassana area.
The case FIR no 35/2021 U/S 341, 353, 382, 147, 149, 336, 504, 506, 225, 224, 120-B IPC and section 3 of Prevention of Damage to Public property Act has been registered in police station Chassana on August 31 when notorious criminals of the area attacked police party while another hardcore criminal & Ex Sarpanch Prem Singh wanted in rape case & his accomplices of Thalkote-Chassana were arrested on August 31.
Prem is including in four cases of attack on police including firing by weapon issued under village defence committees, attempt to murder & rape. The victim had lodged a written complaint against Prem & others with allegations of rape. On this FIR 47/2020 was registered in Police Station Chasana & complainant was taken to judicial magistrate for recording the statement of the victim in this heinous crime of rarest of rare nature.
The victim stated the involvement of Prem in commission of the heinous crime, recorded her statement & collected by the investigating officer of police station Chasana as evidence in the case. The accused is a hard core criminal having experience of 25 years in the dirty games.
Meanwhile, teams of Reasi Police arrested two notorious criminals namely Chankar Singh S/O Paras Ram R/O Thalkote, Tehsil Chassana and Ayaz Hussain Shah S/O Anwar Hussain Shah wanted in case FIR no 35/2021 U/S 341, 353, 382, 147, 149, 336, 504, 506, 224, 225, 120B IPC & 3 of Prevention of damage to Public Property Act-1984 Police Station Chasana. The cccused Ayaz is a government teacher by profession presently posted in Middle School Kewali Thalkote.
Accused Chankar a notorious criminal of the area was earlier involved in kidnapping, rape and other illegal activities of heinous nature. Case FIR NO 34/2014 U/S 451, 447, 323 RPC and FIR no 40/2013 US 363, 452, 342, 376, 212, 147 RPC of Police Station Chassana registered against him.
Ayaz was also involved in activities of rape & snatching and was earlier charge sheeted in case FIR 123/2018 US 510 RPC of Police Station Reasi and FIR no 6/2017 U/S 341, 323, 382 RPC and FIR no. 47/2020 US 452, 376-D , 109 IPC of Police Station Chassana.
