| Awareness program on waste segregation held at Kishtwar | | |

KISHTWAR, Sept 28: In order to create awareness on importance of waste segregation among the people, Municipal council Kishtwar along with the students of Ignited Minds Kishtwar carried out massive door to door campaign for waste segregation to celebrate Azadi ka Amrit Mahotsav.
As per the details available with Early Times, an initiative to carry out massive door to door campaign for waste segregation wherein dustbins with blue for dry waste and green for wet waste collection were distributed among the people.
The locals were advised and requested not to throw the waste in drains and on by lanes and deposit the same only in dustbins installed on road side beside urged the people to try to dispose of the waste in Municipal vans in respective areas.
The students along with staff of Ignited Minds Classes Kishtwar also demonstrate the uses of these dustbins to the people. |
