9/30/2021 10:24:18 PM
Early Times Report
JAMMU, Sept 30: Retd Principal District Session Judge and Chairman of We The Humans, KYS Manhas expressed his concern over careless attitude adopted by people by not adhering to COVID-19 Appropriate Behaviour (CAB), which might result in eruption of third wave of the Corona virus. Earlier, 50 COVID-19 hygiene kits were, today, distributed among villagers at Panchayat Kalyanpur under Kanha Chack Police Station by Chairman Manhas, Prem Singh Patron, Pavitra Office Secretary We The Humans in presence of Inspector Vishwa Pratap Singh, SHO Police Station Kanha Chack, Sarpanch Mulkraj Sharma and Panchs. Each hygiene kit comprised of Sanitizer, face masks, hand wash soaps, clothes washing soaps packed in eco friendly cloth bags. Apart from this, face shields were distributed among police personnel present on the occasion. This was informed that We The Humans in collaboration with Swasthya Evam Shiksha Charitable Trust Delhi and NIMBARK Organics Jammu have distributed more than 4000 COVID19 hygiene kits since year 2020 apart from spreading awareness among people to adhere to COVID-19 SOPs.
Inspector Vishva Pratap Singh SHO Police Station Kanha Chack was also presented with "Certificate of Honour" for his role played during peak of COVID-19, last year, during his tenure as SHO Sarwal.
Villagers were asked to leave careless attitude and adhere to government guidelines and COVID19 SOPs as issued from time to time. Villagers were given this message that by not adopting to COVID Appropriate Behaviour, they'll be inviting third wave of the virus, which might force the authorities to declare containment areas or shut down many facilities including the market areas.
Prem Singh Patron of We The Humans, SHO Kanha Chack also addressed the villagers. Vote of thanks was extended by Mulkraj Sharma Sarpanch.
