9/30/2021 10:27:10 PM
Early Times Report
JAMMU, Sept 30: Sarv Shakti Sena, J&K, expressed strong resentment against denying admission to all students in UG courses at the colleges affiliated to Cluster University Jammu and University of Jammu.
Addressing media persons here today, Rajan Gupta, President Sarv Shakti Sena, J&K unit, said that students having obtained such a good percentage are not given admissions.
Gupta alleged that the Cluster University of Jammu was playing with the future of students by delaying and denying admission to them for UG courses.
Rajan Gupta also extended full support to the aggrieved students of Cluster University Jammu, who are agitating against alleged faulty evaluation of intermediate semesters. He said that the authorities of Cluster University Jammu are playing with the future of students enrolled in the University. He accused the Cluster University administration of harassing the students enrolled in its respective Colleges.
He said that already the education of students across the country have been affected severely since the outbreak of this lethal virus. He said in view of Corona virus, the Central Government has granted mass promotion to the students studying in schools and colleges but in Jammu still the students are on roads to get their demands fulfilled. Instead of extending support to the students, the authorities are harassing them on the name of evaluation, he added.
Gupta demanded that the government should soon come out with a panacea to resolve the issue as the students have to toil hard to get such good marks and if they were denied admissions they will get disappointed. He appealed to Lt Governor to pass on necessary directions to the authorities concerned for either modifying the result or notify date for the re-examination of students of cluster University so that they would get a sigh of relief.
