JAMMU, Sept 30: Aadarsh Bhartiya Samaj (ABS), a Social Volunteer Organization, planted saplings of different kinds of plants here today at Phallain Mandaal.
Saplings of different varieties including Neem, Amla, Bel and Toon were planted under the guidance of Col (Retd) R K Sharma, Chairman ABS, Daljeet Singh President ABS and supervision of ex-Nk Parshotam Singh, a social personality and his team in and around Sure Chak, Phallain Mandaal. On the occasion, Singh narrated the benefits of plants in our daily life and stressed upon the general masses and students community in particular to plant more and more trees to keep our Planet Earth clean and green, for pollution free environment, to save the Planet Earth and generation as well. Plants give us oxygen, shadow and many more benefits, he added. |
