| Women Club Meri Pehchaan felicitates Umesh Gopinath Jadhav | | |  Early Times Report
JAMMU, Sept 30: Women Club Meri Pehchaan, felicitated Umesh Gopinath Jadhav, the man behind the idea of establishing a memorial as a mark of respect to the Pulwama martyrs.
Chairperson Women Club Meri Pehchaan Sandhya Gupta along with Vikas Manhas honoured Jadhav here today.
Speaking on the occasion, Chairman Sandhya Gupta said that Umesh Gopinath Jadhav is working hard for such a noble cause to pay tribute to each of the CRPF personnel, who were martyred in a terror attack, when the bus carrying them was blown up in an IED blast at Pulwama, J&K.
She further said that Umesh Gopinath Jadhav has visited the houses of all the Pulwama attack martyrs to collect the soil (asthiyaan) and use the same for building their memorial in Pulwama district of J&K.
Further briefing about Jadhav, Sandhya Gupta said that he has travelled more than 61,000 kilometres covering 16 states to meet the families of those who laid down their lives in the line of duty during the Pulwama attack and it is his way of showing respect for the security forces of India.
After knowing all about his hard work for such a noble cause, Women Club Meri Pehchaan along with Vikas Manhas are welcoming and felicitating him in J&K, she added. |
