JAMMU, Sept 30: Continuing his endeavour to provide more development and civic amenities to the general public, Chander Mohan Gupta Mayor JMC along with Sandhya Gupta, Councilor of Ward No 15 today conducted an extensive tour in the different localities of the ward and kick started the remaining development works in the Community Hall at Prajapati Sabha near Trikuta Complex, Indira Chowk Jammu.
On this occasion, Gopal Gupta Councilor of Ward No 5, Vinay Gupta Jammu Distt President, Ayodhya Prajapati Chairman Prajapati Sabha, Sunil Prajapati, Rajesh Dogra, Anil Gupta, Narinder Gupta and other prominent citizens of Jammu as well as Raj Kumar Khajuria, Assistant Executive Engineer, Ram Paul Junior Engineer of Engineering Division-I concerned contractor and other field staff of JMC remained present during the event. Speaking on the occasion, Mayor said that this Community Hall was constructed a way back within the constituency funds provided by Rajesh Gupta, ex-MLA Jammu East and on the request of committee members of the Prajapati Sabha, concerned Councilor of the ward has taken a lot of initiatives and after her hectic efforts, the remaining works which includes marble flooring, brick works, installation of door-windows, renovation of existing bathrooms and other allied works have been started today with an allotted amount of Rs 30 lakh. Chairman of the Sabha extended gratitude to the Mayor and concerned Councilor for considering their long pending demands and fr taking concrete steps towards upgradation /completion of the Community Hall in the Parajapati Sabha. |
