| JKRDS pays rich tributes to Mahatma Gandhi, Shastri | | | Early Times Report
JAMMU, Oct 3: A meeting of Jammu & Kashmir Rural Development Society held today at its regional office, Jammu under the chairmanship of Vice-Chairman and former minister Babu Ram Paul.In this meeting various issues pertaining to the overall development of the society were discussed and various strategies were formulated for the future course of action.
All the member reposed their full faith and confidence on the leadership of the Chairman of JKRDS Mubarak Gul (former Speaker) and Vice Chairman Babu Ram Paul. On the occasion rich tributes were paid to the father of the nation Mahatma Gandhi and former Prime Minister of India, Lal Bahadur Shastri on their birth anniversaries.
The Vice-Chairman of the society highlighted the role and contribution with firm determination of Rashtrapita Mahatma Gandhi in the freedom struggle and subsequently the role of Lal Bahadur Shastri as Prime Minister of India.
The members unanimously decided to work with zeal and spirit to strengthen the society at the grassroot level and pledged to work under the active guidance of Chairman and Vice-Chairman of the society.
Those who were present and spoke on the occasion include R.K Chanyal (Adv), KL Abrol, Hemraj, Ashok Koul JKRDS, Braham Dutt Sharma, Sat Paul Shabotra, Harbans Lal, Surjeet Dalotra, Dr Gaurav Bharat and Dr Gurpreet Singh. |
