Early Times Report

Jammu, Oct 3: The Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS), chief Dr. Mohan Bhagwat on Sunday said that abrogation of Article 370 was just a beginning, and a lot more needed to be done to achieve the target of making India the supreme power in the world.
“It is not time to take a rest. We have to make India an economic and spiritual power to guide the world”, Dr. Bhagwat said while addressing RSS workers of J&K through virtual mode.
On the concluding day of his four-day visit to Jammu and Kashmir, Dr. Mohan Bhagwat addressed the workers through online mode from Keshav Bhawan-the headquarters of J&K RSS at Ambphalla.
Swaysevaks from 989 places joined the virtual meetings across the Union Territory of Jammu and Kashmir and listen to address.
In his address, he guided the workers on different topics ranging from the formation of the RSS to the expansion of its network across the globe. He emphasized personality building, organization setup, nation-building, and challenges before the nation.
Dr. Mohan Bhagwat said that in the year 2025, the RSS is going to complete 100 years of its formation and there is a need to accelerate activities of the RSS to mark its centenary celebrations. He said that the target of the workers should be to reach every household when it will celebrate its centenary four years later.
He exhorted workers to work hard in order to ensure that when the organisation will turn 100 in 2025, the workers should reach every household with extension of RSS in all villages.
He advised the workers how their conduct should be and how their lives should be devoted to nation-building.
“We are doing the same work for the last 96 years. We have to do it with more zeal and enthusiasm without diverting out attention”, he called upon the workers.
Emphasizing the need of strengthening the organization, he said that real unity is the real strength. “Our strength will be realized only through our unity. We have to remain united”, he said. He narrated examples of the funder of RSS Dr Hedgewar during the early days of Sangh in Nagpur.
He emphasizes attending Shakhas regularly as it is important to remain physically, intellectually, and organizationally strong. “Every worker has to perform his duty with dedication and commitment”, he said and stressed the need for character building and personality building.
He narrated examples of Ramayana to give importance to character building. “A worker should be an example for the whole society”, he said.
On this occasion, Sanghchalak of North Zone, Prof. Sita Ram Vyas and Sah-Sanghachalak of Jammu and Kashmir Province, Dr. Gautam Mengi were also present.
