JAMMU, Oct 3: The NSS unit of Government Degree College (GDC) Jindrah organized Swachhata Abhiyaan under Clean India Campaign on the 3rd day of ‘Har Din Paavan’ in the Ward No 1 of Jindrah village.
The water bodies of the area were covered under the Abhiyaan for today’s activity. The activity was done under the banner of ‘Azaadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav’.
Dr Sunil Sharma, Program officer, NSS Unit of GDC Jindrah supervised the whole Swachhata Abhiyaan and Dr Seema, Librarian and member of NSS team compiled and reported the whole cleanliness drive.
Prof Rajshree Dhar, Principal, GDC Jindrah applauded the efforts of the NSS team and Volunteers. She also congratulated the locals for their active participation.
The overall activity incharge for the day was NSS volunteer, Jung Bahadur.
The other volunteers who participated were Varun Kumar Raina, Ishan Sharma, Vikram Singh and Ajay Kumar. The locals also contributed to the noble cause very enthusiastically.
