JAMMU, Oct 3: To commemorate ‘Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav’, Prafulla Akant, National Organizing Secretary, Akhil Bharatiya Vidyarthi Parishad visited SKUAST-Jammu. During the visit Akant interacted with the research scholars, scientists, newly constituted ABVP unit of SKUAST Jammu.
Akant exhorted the gathering of intellectuals to create models on various Agri-Ventures while ensuring their reliability among the agrarian masses as a potential source of employment generation, livelihood security and self reliance in agriculture sector.
Akant also made an appeal before the Agri-Scientists and Scholars to aspire and usher for the quest to infuse innovation in their research endeavors to achieve nutritional security while enhancing the contribution of Agriculture sector to the GDP of the country.
During this programme CWC member, Muskan Anand, National Executive Committee Member Agrivision Radheshyam Kumawat, State Agrivison Convener Deepak Pandey, Sourav Manhas University President ABVP, Gurwinder Singh, Aarti Sharma, Pallavi Sharma, Sudhanshu, Parbhdeep Singh, Manjot Singh, Nikhil Thakur, Govind, Alok Patel and Ranjeet Bochalya were also present there.
