MC Bari Brahmana celebrates conclusion day of “Azadi Ka Amrut Mahoutsav”

JAMMU, Oct 3: Municipal Committee, Bari Brahmana today celebrated the conclusion day of “Azadi Ka Amrut Mahoutsav”.
The Chief Guest of the function was Asgar Hussain, Director, Urban Local Bodies, Jammu. He was welcomed by Jodh Raj, Executive Officer, Ward Members and Safaimitras of Municipal Committee Bari Brahmana.
The Executive Officer administered the Swachtta pledged to all the participants including staff as well as frontline sanitation workers. The function was arranged under the guidance of Executive Officer and all the arrangement was made under the close supervision of Ravinder Kumar Gupta, Assistant Sanitation Officer and Kamal Kishore Secretary Municipal Committee, Bari Brahamana.
The chief guest honoured all the safaimitras by presenting them garlands and appreciation certificates i.e. “Scroll of Honor”. The Chief Guest also presented the “Scroll of Honor” to existing Ward Members, Ex-Presidents, Ex-Ward Members, Special Guests, best Entrepreneur of Bari Brahamana town for cooperating with Bari Brahamana municipality to cater the challenge of garbage including plastic wastes. The Chief guest also given Appreciation Certificate to Assistant Sanitation Officer and Secretary Municipal Committee Bari Brahamana.
The Municipal Committee Bari Brahmana also arranged the cultural program / Nukad Nattak to educate the people to prevent the litter on road / streets / public places and start the process to deliver segregated waste to door to door collection agents of municipality.
The chief guest extended his warm wishes to the Safaimitras and citizens of the town and urged them to cooperate with the Municipality in order to make the town neat and clean and develop the best eco system environment for the society.
The Executive Officer thanked all the participants for supporting Municipal Committee Bari Brahamana, The officer also assured to the participants that execution of developmental works are in progress and the Municipal Committee very soon complete all the ongoing major developmental works.
