| Cleanliness drive held across district Ramban | | |

RAMBAN, Oct 4: Clean India sanitation campaign -a month long cleanliness and sanitation drive was today intensified across the district here to promote the 'Swachhta Hi Seva' slogan. The Health, Education and Panchayati Raj Department today held different activities to achieve the goal of clean India. A massive cleanliness drive was held in Government Higher Secondary School Batote, Girls Government High School Ramban, Government High School Dhalwas and other educational and health institutions in which officers and officials besides students participated.
Similarly, students of class 10 to class 12 of various schools participated in the drive in their respective areas. They also sensitised the people about the importance of hand washing and personal hygiene by launching a Soap campaign. The students were also encouraged to sensitize the people in their respective areas to contribute in making their areas neat and clean besides making Mahatma Gandhi's dream true. |
