Jammu, Oct 4: After government employees, businessmen and students taking to streets to seek redressal of their grievances, members of transgender community too are out on the roads to protest against the alleged reign of terror unleashed by a non-local transgender in Jammu.
Accusing a non-local transgender, Sheetal, of attacking the members of the community in Jammu region, the members of transgender community staged a massive protest here. “After harassing us now, he is planning to get us killed.
He is an outsider and is running a mafia in Jammu region. If he continues to trouble us, where will the natives go,” they said. They raised slogans and sought the intervention of Lieutenant Governor to end their miseries. |
