| GDC Khour observes weeklong programme to celebrate Gandhi Jayanti | | |

JAMMU, Oct 4: NSS unit of GDC Khour organized an intra-college poster making competition to commemorate 152nd birth anniversary of Mahatma Gandhi. As part of the weeklong celebration, the theme of today's activity was Gandhi's Principle of Truth & Non-Violence. Students of the college participated in the programme by making colorful & insightful posters.
In this competition, 1st position was secured by Reena Choudhary of semester 6th, 2nd by Kanchan Manhotra of semester 3rd and 3rd by Shiwani Bhagat of semester 6th, GDC Khour.
The posters were evaluated by the advisory committee comprising of Prof Tarsem Lal and Dr Kuldeep Raj Sharma.
The whole event was organized by NSS PO Prof Gurvinder Kour under the able guidance of Prof. Rama Badyal, Principal of the College. Principal of the College congratulated the students for their participation in the event with zeal and enthusiasm and appreciated the team for organizing the event. |
