| Hindi Pakhwada celebrations concludes at GDC Majalta | | | Early Times Report
UDHAMPUR, Oct 4: Under the 'Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav', Department of Hindi of GDC Majalta, organized a number of divisional level inter-college activities to commemorate Hindi Diwas and Hindi Pakhwada. The programmes were organized under the patronage of Principal Prof (Dr) BB Anand. The events organized included slogan writing, poetry composition/recitation and essay writing. In the inter-college slogan writing competition Diksha Devi of semester 4th of GDC Majalta, Suman Devi, Sem 2nd student of PG Hindi, GDC Udhampur and Bhavna Devi of Semester 6th of GDC, Ramnagar clinched 1st, 2nd and 3rd prize.
In the Divisional Level Inter-College poetry recitation, out of 15 participants Diksha Devi of GDC Majalta, Shubham Mankotia of GDC Billawar and and Tanya Devi of GDC Billawar attained first, second and third positions respectively.
In the Inter-College essay writing competition Diksha Devi of GDC Majalta, Shubham Mankotia Mankotia of GDC Billawar and Bhavana Devi of GDC Ramnagar procured 1st, 2nd and 3rd positions respectively. The chief guest and the patron of the program Principal Prof Anand congratulated the Department of Hindi and members of the organizing team for successfully coordinating the event in the online mode. He also exhorted the department for organizing such programmes in future. Prof (Dr) Parveen Kumari read the proceedings of the programme. Prof (Dr) Neha Sharma coordinated the programme and formal vote of thanks was presented by Prof (Dr) Suresh Sharma, HOD Department of Dogri. |
