| Students of GAMC Akhnoor visit Sheetli Water Purification Plant | | |  Early Times Report
JAMMU, Oct 4: A day long visit was organized by the Department of Swasthavritta and Yoga under the guidance of Prof Dr Shashi Sudan Sharma, Principal Government Ayurvedic Medical College, Akhnoor to acquaint students with Rapid Sand Filtration Process. Students were also made aware about the Chlorination process and Filtration process. The students also got knowledge about the disinfection of water. During the visit, Er Ankush Gupta from staff of the water purification plant gave a lecture to students about the water treatment processes.
The visit was arranged by Dr Abhishek Magotra Associate Professor, Dr Sheetal Gupta Assistant Professor and Dr Sheetal Associate Professor.
Dr Abhishek Magotra thanked Principal Dr Shashi Sudan Sharma, Nodal officer Dr Narinder Sharma and AEE Shitlee Water Purification Plant Er Sudhir Singh and Er Ankush Gupta for giving an opportunity to visit Sheetli Water Purification Plant Nagrotra. |
