Helper feared dead, driver injured after JCB plunged into river in Ganderbal | | | Early Times Report SRINAGAR, Oct 4: A helper feared dead and driver was injured after JCB plunged into river Sindh on Srinagar-Leh national highway in the central Kashmir district of Ganderbal on Monday, official sources said. They said a JCB fell into river Jehlum at Hung Sonamarg on the highway on early Monday morning. However, the driver was rescued in an injured condition, they said a massive search has been launched to rescue the cleaner (helper) from the river. Due to rain during the past 24 hours , the water level in the river has increased, they added. |
