JKTA condemns killings of Principal, teacher | | | Early Times Report JAMMU, Oct 7: Jammu and Kashmir Teachers' Association (JKTA) strongly condemned the killing of Principal Supinder Kour and Deepak Chand, teacher posted in Governemnt Boys Higher Secondary School, Eidgah Srinagar. President JKTA, Bhupinder Singh and Vice President JKTA, Joginder Digra termed the gruesome killings of innocent persons as an attack on humanity. Teaching is a noble profession and teachers burnt themselves to enlighten others from darkness, they added. JKTA demand protection to all teachers who are serving in the Kashmir valley and also demanded justice for the family members of the departed souls. Others who prayed for the departed souls included Akhtar Abbas, Pawan Kumar, Farooq Daing, Pardeep Choudhary, Shoket Chouhan, Mehoob Alam, Tirth Singh, Kuldeep Chand, Joginder Singh and Ray Raj Thakur. |
