1990 is coming back, says KP social activist | | | Early Times Report
Srinagar, Oct 7: Prominent social activist, Sheela Handoo, on Thursday said that the situation in Kashmir is returning back to the nineties. Talking to local news channels, Handoo said, “Kashmiri Pandits had started returning to the Valley and were living in harmony with their Muslim brethren. It’s unfortunate that elements inimical to peace have one again started killing the members of minority communities. Again 1990 is coming back. This time we will start an agitation and the entire India is with us. I have been in Kashmir for the past 10-years my Muslim brethren have always stood by me.” She said, “The professor Sikh lady killed by militants today was taking care of a poor family of her own student. Her killing is a barbaric act. Pakistan has ruined Kashmir and it needs to be taught a lesson. The perpetrators need to be identified and dealt with sternly.” |
