| GDC Pouni celebrates "Clean India" programme | | |  Early Times Report
REASI, Oct 7 : Government Degree College (GDC) Pouni in district Reasi celebrated "Clean India" programme under the guidance of Principal Prof Rajni Bhagat. On this occasion three activities were conducted by NSS wing under the guidance of Prof Balbir Kumar, NSS Officer 1. The activities included plastic collection within College premises by staff and students, Swachhta Abhiyan (Cleanliness drive) and Swachhta Pledge. Principal Prof Rajni and Prof Balbir Kumar, NSS Coordinator addressed the students and emphasized that students should act as social messenger to disseminate such messages to the general masses at large. They also highlighted how we protect water bodies' from plastic and its related materials in the larger interest of mankind and other organisms in particular. |
