| Bhalwal Zone lifts Inter-Zonal Distt Level Cricket Tournament | | |  Early Times Report
JAMMU, Oct 7: Bhalwal Zone defeated Akhnoor Zone to lift Inter-Zonal District Level Cricket Tournament U/19 (BOYS) being played at Khel Gaon Nagrota. All the zones of district Jammu participated in the tournament organized by the Department of Youth Services & Sports, District Jammu under the chairmanship of Gazanfar Ali, Director Youth Services & Sports J&K UT, under the guidance of Jatinder Mishra, Dy Director Central YS&S and under the overall supervision of DYSSO Jammu Sukhdev Raj. The main aim of these tournaments is to select best team/players for the next level of competitions. DYSSO Jammu Sukhdev Raj appreciated the winnings and runner up teams after final match and advice the winning team to remain in practice for the next level of the competitions. The matches were officiated by the experts of the department.
In today's fixtures of Cricket U/19 yrs, Bhalwal zone beat Bishnah zone by 30 runs in the first semi final while Akhnoor zone defeated Jammu zone by 7 wickets. In the final of the tournament Bhalwal zone beat Akhnoor zone by 8 wickets. |
