| AAP alleges LG as inefficient, not able to provide even basic facilities | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT
JAMMU, Oct 23: Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) Vice-President Jammu-Poonch Parliamentary constituency Rajesh Gupta today lambasted the BJP led government and PDD, PHE departments. Jammu people suffering, long duration power cuts and acute scarcity of drinking water and threatened to launch a mass agitation. Gupta said festival season is on and BJP led government failed to provide any basic facilities to the people of Jammu since they are in power. BJP is claiming to make Jammu a smart city which is a great mockery.
AAP leader said Lieutenant Governor of J&K Manoj Sinha is also defunct as he only does the inaugurations and give lectures but practically nothing. Rajesh Gupta urged LG Sinha to go through ground realities and call the PHE, PDD Commissioners and Chief Engineers meeting to instruct them to do their job highly professional and foolproof way.
He appealed Lieutenant Governor to hold CBI or Crime branch inquiry of the funds allotted to PHE Jammu City Division. He said Jammu PHE City Division has become the den of corruption. |
