| Aradhana organizes dental awareness camp | | |  EARLY TIMES REPORT
JAMMU, Oct 24: Aradhana-a ray of hope, organized a dental awareness camp under the chapter "Aaroh Cares" for the slum residents of Shastri Nagar. Around 20-30 families were benefitted. The workshop was aimed at educating the people about good dental well-being and timely treatment of dental diseases especially in the times of COVID-19.
For children, practices like brushing their teeth twice daily with the right techniques, gargling after every meal, examining their teeth and visiting dentists after an adequate period of time were given utmost significance whereas adults were made cautious about the tobacco and the ill effects of its consumption. The folks were also made alert about dengue and its prevention considering the rise in the cases.
Dr Bhanu Kiran and Dr Damandeep Kour supervised the camp under their surveillance. Satish Mehra, Kushal Bhagat, Keshav Bhagat, Taniya Bazaz, Sarabjeet Kour were the other members who participated in the campaign. AAROH assures to conduct more such informative workshops in the future. |
