FAIVM demands welfare schemes for trade and industry | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT
JAMMU, Oct 24: FAIVM J&K Unit congratulated RK Chhibber at Chairman House J&K Bank for getting extension as MD and Chairman of J&K Bank. J&K Bank achieves new height under his able leadership, said FAIVM adding that it wants bank should reach to new talents for awareness regarding startups and sanctions loan for skill educations. Sanjay Bansal, President FAIVM J&K Unit wants J&K Bank should check disparity in rate of interest between old and new customers, renewal should not be charged from customers, repo rate is 4% as of now, so the rate of interest should not exceed 6.5% and try to improve work culture in branches in terms of not harassing MSMEs and keeping a close watch on branches by constituting new committee and having a complain redressal mechanism. Valuation of property done by the valuators are not up to the satisfaction of customers and it should be according to market rates, because of these traders and industrialist are facing difficulties in getting loans. Improving net-banking at par with private banks, improving account statements as IMPS recipient details are not shown in account statement, start Cash pickup from customer point. Giving ‘Mudra’ loans to customers as per government policy and help in building J&K a better place to do business efficiently. RK Chhibber gave a very good response to FAIVM and promised that every suggestion provided by FAIVM will be taken care of.
