J&K Wushu team secures third spot in Junior Championship | | | Early Times Report
JAMMU, Oct 25: The J&K junior wushu team has emerged as 2nd runner up in the Sanda event. It is for the consecutive 2nd time that J&K junior wushu team remained 3rd in the national championship. The J&K team secured two gold and four bronze medals in the championship while as Haryana topped with eight gold, two silver and two bronze whereas Manipur with two gold, one silver and two bronze and UP with one gold medal and three silver medals. Sadia Tariq and Ansa Chisti secured gold medals in the below 48 kg and 52 kg categories respectively. Ayra Chisti, Kaifa Shah, Ali and Ajmal secured bronze medals in the championship. The chief guest on the closing ceremony Bhupender Singh Bajwa, President of Wushu Association of India presented medals to all medalists. |
