Early Times Report

Srinagar, Oct 25: After protests in Jammu, the Government appears to have decided to take action against the students of Government Medical College Srinagar, who raised Pro-Pakistan slogans and celebrated the Pakistani’s victory in ICC T20 World Cup against team India.
On Sunday evening, several videos showing medical students singing the Pakistan National Anthem and raising pro-Pakistan slogans inside the hostel went viral and attracted the attention of people across the country.
The videos, according to reports, have been shot inside the hostel building of Government Medical College Srinagar and Medical College SKIMS Soura. At GMC Srinagar, videos show female students dancing, singing Pakistan National Anthem and raising pro-Pakistan slogans. At SKIMS, videos show similar scenes. Reports said that other videos, which have gone viral on social media sites and are currently being played for Pakistani media channels and social media users, show youngsters bursting firecrackers at multiple locations in Srinagar. They said that the LG administration has taken serious note of the happenings as they took place at a time when Home Minister Amit Shah was in the city.
“Security agencies have been directed to identify the people who are involved in this anti-national activity and it is on,” highly placed sources told Early Times.
Pertinent to mention here that people across the country, on Monday, condemned the Isolated Pro-Pakistan celebrations in Srinagar.
“Those bursting crackers on Pak winning can’t be Indian! We stand by our boys! #Shameful,” Member Parliament and former cricketer Gautam Gambhir tweeted on Monday.
