| J&K Players shine in Junior Wushu Championship | | |

JAMMU, Nov 6: The J&K Junior Wushu team emerged as 2nd runner up in the Sanda event, it is second consecutive time that J&K remained 3rd in the national championship. The J&K team secured two gold and four bronze medals in the championship while as Haryana topped with 8 gold, two silver and two bronze whereas Manipur with two gold, one silver and two bronze and UP with one gold medal, three silver.
Sadia Tariq and Ansa Chisti secured gold medals in the below 48 kg and 52 kg respectively. It is the second consecutive gold medal for Sadia whereas Ansa converted her previous silver medal to gold. Ayra Chisti, Kaifa Shah, Ali and Ajmal secured bronze medals in the championship. |
