JAMMU, Nov 24: NSS unit of GGM Science College under the patronage of Principal Dr Ravender Tickoo and guidance of NSS PO, Dr Deepali Mahajan is celebrating Communal Harmony Week under which it organized a symposium on national integration as part of Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav.
National integration indicates the feeling of common identity amongst the people of a country even after being from different races, cultures, religions or regions in order to build a strong and developed nation.
NSS volunteers Sahil, Aaghav, Pallav, Deepak, Harish, Uzma, Mohd. Ali spoke today spreading the message of patriotism, highlighting the inherent strength and resilience of our nation to withstand actual and potential threats to the eclectic and secular fabric of our country, and to nurture the spirit of communal harmony in its widest sense. Aaghav and Harish were judged first. The NSS PO emphasized that the purpose of these events is to enhance the feeling of nationalism unifying people. Our behaviour and personality should reflect national consciousness, she added.
