Modernization, maintenance of parks necessary: Sat

JAMMU, Nov 26: To improve the conditions of Public Parks in Jammu West , former Minister and ex-MLA Jammu West Sat Sharma (CA) along with Councillor Ward 37 Sunita Gupta started upgradation and renovation works of Municipal park at Keshav Nagar area of Janipur Colony. Scores of people including Mandal President Raveesh Mengi, local residents and political activists of the area also accompanied Former MLA during his visit in the area.
Speaking on the occasion, Sat Sharma said that it was a pending demand of the residents of the area from a long time as it is the only park which caters to the needs of thousands of local residents and adjoining areas so it was necessary to take up the developmental works in order to provide the public with basic amenities. He also asked the officials to work on the boundaries of the park and establish a fencing system so that beautification of the park should be maintained and he appealed to the public to frame a committee for the development and maintenance of the park.
Sunita Gupta said that in coming days remaining parks in the ward will also be maintained and it will be seen that a modern infra is installed in these parks in order to provide best possible services to the masses. She also lauded the works done by former MLA and said that works done by him improved the developmental scenario in the ward.
Raveesh Mengi talked about the development done in Janipur and thanked the people for supporting BJP.
Kulbir Singh, RC Gupta, Ramesh Sharma, Vicky Sharma, Parvesh, Sahil Anand, Vipan Gupta, Pappu, Murali Lal, Tilak Raj Gupta and several others were also present.
