JAMMU, Dec 13: Department of Sociology, Government Girdhari Lal Dogra Memorial Degree College organized one day capacity building and personality development webinar for female students in collaboration with Central University of Jammu and National Commission for Women. The theme of the webinar was “Communication Skills and Employment”. Prof. Sanjeev Jain, Vice-Chancellor, Central University of Jammu emphasized the role of women who comprised half of the population of the planet. Women he said are in no way behind the men but are ahead in many respects. The speakers on the occasion were Dr. Sourav Gupta, Senior Assistant Professor, Central University of Odisha, Dr. D. Punitha, Head and Associate Professor, University of Madras and Zulfikar Ahmed, Bunyaad Foundation, New Delhi. The speakers stressed on the role of communication in social and political life of humans.
